Parish Campaign
Seeds of Wisdom in South Sudan is officially launching its fundraising campaign starting January 25th. The campaign is focused on building a K-8 campus in the hometown of Fr. John – Yei, South Sudan. During the masses, SOW will provide a brief presentation about the project and be available afterwards in the gathering space to answer questions.
Although the recent violence in South Sudan may continue, we are optimistic and we pray that the conflict will be contained and the current negotiations for peace will succeed, allowing the country continued healing and growth. We will move forward for the children of South Sudan, recognizing that the actual building of the school may be delayed until the conflict subsides. We remain prayerfully optimistic that construction will begin in the fall of 2014 and the start of classes in early 2015. Please keep the people of South Sudan and the mission of Seeds of Wisdom in your prayers.
